Rotoroa trip

Hi there!
Yesterday we went on a trip to rotoroa island. Here is a piece of my writing:

“Come on guys”, said Brian as we were walking up the path. It got really thirsty as we were walking. We were halfway up the hill and some of us stopped to have a drink of water.

Once we were at the  top, we stopped to have a look at the beautiful view and have a drink/break. Just as we were looking at the view, we saw a cemetery where some people( men with drug and alcohol addiction, and people who lived on the island ) died.

Then we walked down the hill in a different path which was slippery and led us to where two or three saddle back bird lived. Most of us sat on a log while Brian was playing a saddle back bird song. “They are telling us to leave their home”, Brian told us.

When we started talking about what we were going to do, we could hear the tieke saying something to us( in its own language ). We could tell by the way it’s flying that it is angry.
